MentesCristalinas Manifesto
Why we exist
Because we believe it is possible to live a difficult life with more clarity, more kindness and better relationships — and that this can be learned. It is not a gift: it is science, it is art and it is practice. We do not exist to deny difficulty: we exist for what can be done with it.
What we help transform
The difficulty of being at peace with yourself — and what it does to your relationships. The voice that never finds us good enough. The part that wants to change and the part that sabotages. The relationships in which we repeat what we swore never to repeat. The tiredness of pretending everything is fine.
The transformation we facilitate
We promise neither cures nor timelines — we promise a serious path. We help people move from inner conflict to inner dialogue: within every inner conflict, a deep harmony waits to be heard. Those who make peace with themselves relate to everyone differently — that is the transformation we facilitate: healthier relationships, with yourself and with others.
What we believe
That parts are not the problem and that no one needs to be fixed, because no one is broken. That self-compassion is not self-indulgence: it is courage — the strength to look at what hurts without looking away. That presence can be trained. That scientific rigour and tenderness are not opposites: they are partners. And that is why we are called MentesCristalinas: a crystal-clear mind is not a mind without wounds — it is a mind able to look at them with clarity, presence and compassion.
What sets us apart
We are realists: we tell the truth about what change costs — and about what it gives back. We work with clinical grounding — psychotherapy, the IFS model (Internal Family Systems) and the research on mindfulness and self-compassion — translated into plain language and concrete practice. Practice that stays with you. Depth, with the time that depth asks for.
The relationship we want to build
Adult to adult. We respect the pace, the pain and the intelligence of everyone who comes to us. We do not infantilise, we do not pressure, we do not create dependency: the aim of our work is to no longer be needed. We want to be a home people return to by choice — a community of people learning how to live, not an audience being sold to.
What we will never do
We will never promise results that science does not support. We will never use anyone's suffering as advertising. We will never pretend that a course replaces therapy, or that therapy makes life out there unnecessary. We will call things by their names: emotions, emotions; work, work; the time things take, time. And we will never forget that whoever comes to us is not a target customer: they are a person going through a difficult time.
MentesCristalinas — healthy relationships, with yourself and with others.
