Difficult relationships begin within.
A weekly programme to work on the way you connect with others — starting with yourself. First edition: 12 weekly two-hour sessions, in Setúbal.
What it will be
The journey, in three blocks:
Block 1 — The relationship with yourself (weeks 1-4)
- — The map: difficult relationships begin within.
- — Patterns that repeat: recognising the cycle before interrupting it.
- — Parts in the mirror: what the other person activates in you.
- — The secure base: caring for the relationship with yourself before repairing the others.
Block 2 — The relationship with the other (weeks 5-8)
- — Attachment: how we learn to be in relationship.
- — Closeness without fusion: being near without disappearing.
- — Trust: it is given, earned and repaired.
- — Conflict: disagreeing without disconnecting.
Block 3 — Communication, limits and repair (weeks 9-12)
- — Limits: saying no without cutting the connection.
- — Communicating from the Self, even when it is hard.
- — Repairing: what to do after conflict.
- — Integrating: the practice that continues in real relationships.
You take part individually. It is not couples therapy — if that is what you need, we talk and point you in the right direction.
The way you connect with others was learnt — and it can be learnt anew.
